Born and raised in Eminence, MO, Christy has carried those small town values with her throughout her career. A hard work ethic and the golden rule were two things her parents taught her at a young age.

Christy moved to Poplar Bluff to attend and play volleyball at Three Rivers College in 1996 and went on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She loves the Poplar Bluff community and is active with several organizations, including Chi and Company, a girls group she started at the Poplar Bluff Junior High School to help girls with self-esteem, confidence and kindness.
